After opening the season with three straight wins, the Miami Dolphins are coming off back-to-back losses. Following a bye week, the Dolphins will attempt to get back on the winning path when they host the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo is 0-2 in AFC East games this season, although its two losses were by a combined nine points.
Fantasy football projections, Week 7: Dolphins vs. Bills features Ryan Tannehill projected for biggest day
Although this game features Fred Jackson, C.J. Spiller, Mike Wallace and others, Ryan Tannehill is projected to be the fantasy leader.

A win would keep Miami within shouting distance of New England while the Bills are fighting their way back to .500 after some early season woes. Sunday’s game also features a few players who are among the early-season fantasy disappointments. Here’s a look at the fantasy projections, with an assist from numberFire.
Dolphins
Mike Wallace is off to a slow start and he isn't projected to turn things around this week. Wallace is projected to catch 4.37 passes for 60.51 yards and 0.30 touchdowns which adds up to a projected 7.81 points. Instead, Ryan Tannehill and Lamar Miller are projected to be the top fantasy football options for Miami.
Although he’s coming off of a seven-carry, 15-yard performance against Baltimore, Miller is projected to score 9.47 points against Buffalo. The Bills have struggled to stop the run this season and are 28th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed. Buffalo’s issues could give Miller some running room and he’s projected to finish with 60.17 yards on the ground.
Tannehill has the highest projection of any player in this game at 13.15 points. That’s based on 260.42 passing yards and 1.26 touchdowns. That projection is slightly less than the 14 fantasy points Tannehill has averaged per game this season.
Bills
C.J. Spiller has been a disappointing first-round pick for many fantasy owners and that may not change this week. Miami is 15th against the run this season and Spiller is projected to score 9.01 points, less than fellow running back Fred Jackson. Injuries have slowed Spiller this season and he's averaging just 7.7 fantasy points per game. Spiller has never scored more than six rushing touchdowns in a season, but is on pace for just three scores this season.
Thaddeus Lewis will make his second straight start for the Bills and is once again projected to have a decent game. Lewis is projected to score 11.36 fantasy points, throwing for 181.47 yards and adding another 15.74 yards on the ground. Coming off a back injury, not much is expected of Stevie Johnson, who's projected to make 3.28 catches for 46.83 receiving yards.
