Browns running back Willis McGahee sat out of practice on Thursday for rest, and he will play against the Packers. His chronic knee issues were believed to be the reason, according to ESPN NFL Insiders.
Willis McGahee injury update: Browns back not at 100 percent, lessens fantasy value
Willis McGahee’s age is catching up to his knees already. We break down the fantasy implications.

McGahee has looked like an aging vet this season and hasn't shown much explosion through the hole. The University of Miami product has a meager 2.8 yards per carry this season and the Browns haven't been able to get a ground game going even before he arrived and Trent Richardson was their primary back.
The Browns are going to need Willis to get going. They're going to want to keep Aaron Rodgers off the field, so perhaps the rest is them tipping their hand that they know this will be the case.
Fantasy impact: The numbers suggest that McGahee is a dicey play. Brandon Weeden has turned the team into a passing team with Jordan Cameron and Josh Gordon becoming his primary targets. PPR owners might want to entertain the idea of starting a guy like Chris Ogbonnaya, a guy that should get plenty of targets.
