Chiefs wide receiver Donnie Avery has a minor shoulder injury and put in a full week of practice. He is listed as probable and will play this week.
Donnie Avery injury update: Shoulder injury doesn’t affect low fantasy value
Donnie Avery’s shoulder is fine. We break down the fantasy implications.

He's been on the injury report before with this injury, so it sounds like it'll be something he'll have to deal with all season. Avery came crashing back to Earth with just two catches for six yards against a soft Raiders secondary.
While Avery does have some nice games this year, the fact is that he and quarterback Alex Smith just aren't made for each other. Well, Smith isn't really meant for any receiver. You can just look at what happened to Michael Crabtree last year once Colin Kaepernick arrived. But we digress.
Fantasy impact: His value has fallen off a cliff. The Chiefs offense is built on the running game, and it'll be the Jamaal Charles Show all season. There just isn't enough upside here and even a stud like Dwayne Bowe has cooled off with his new QB. It will take a desperate owner to start Avery this week.
