Patriots receiver Danny Amendola was diagnosed with a concussion this week and he will not play against the Jets in Week 7. He'll have to go through the NFL's concussion protocol and could miss more games for the Patriots. Julian Edelman will resume the role in the slot, despite the questionable tag.
Danny Amendola injury update: Ruled out with concussion, fantasy owners continue to be annoyed
Danny Amendola is out with a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.

Amendola looks to be well on his way to missing half of his games this year. He dealt with a groin issue in the preseason. He then aggravated it in Week 1, then re-aggravated it again in that same game, he missed a few games, and now he’s out indefinitely with a concussion.
On the season, he has just 16 catches for 159 yards and no TDs.
Fantasy impact: Owners really have to be kicking themselves for this fiasco. Amendola had some of the highest upside in PPR leagues, especially after he caught 10 balls in his Week 1 even with limited action. There’s really no other option than to hold on here. Although, if you find yourself slipping in the standings, someone will gladly trade you someone healthy for a guy that could help in the fantasy postseason.
