St. Louis Rams running backs Zac Stacy (chest) fully participated in practice on both Thursday and Friday with the team and is expected to start against the Carolina Panthers in Week 7. After the first two starts of his NFL career so far, Stacy is averaging a steady five yards per carry.
Zac Stacy injury update: Rams RB probable, will start third straight game in tough fantasy matchup
The Rams’ newly anointed starting running back is expected to start in Week 7 against the Panthers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: The St. Louis Rams organization came into the 2013 season with a lot of promise. Quarterback Sam Bradford seemed to have developed instant chemistry with tight end Jared Cook and there were high hopes for receiver Tavon Austin as a one of a kind special talent that would add another dimension to the Rams passing game.
As for the running game, Stacy was third on the team's depth chart to start the season as Daryl Richardson and Isaiah Pead were given their fair share of opportunities first. Both drastically underachieved to the point where coach Jeff Fisher had no choice but to give Stacy a look. He's averaging 16 carries per game in the two starts he has under his belt and it seems he won't be relinquishing the starting job anytime soon.
In Week 7, Stacy’s ability to stay consistent regardless of the matchup will no doubt be tested against the Carolina Panthers, who have one of the best run defenses in the NFL this season.
