Jets receiver Santonio Holmes has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots. He didn't practice at all and this is going to be his third game missed due to a hamstring strain.
Santonio Holmes injury update: Jets receiver ruled out, Jeremy Kerley could be a sneaky fantasy play
Santonio Holmes isn’t going to play against the Patriots. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jeremy Kerley is listed as probable to play in Week 7 and didn't miss any practice. He'll play and could be seeing a lot of snaps vs. the Pats.
The fact that the Jets continue to rule out Holmes early doesn’t bode well for his chances to play next week. Holmes hasn’t been the type of player that battles through injuries and it’s not too wild to think he could be out until the team’s bye week in Week 10.
Just when it looked like Holmes was ready to heat up, things go south for him. He even said “he can’t throw it to himself” earlier this month.
Fantasy impact: Despite his nice line a month ago, there’s really nothing to like here. He’s disgruntled and the Jets offense is far too inconsistent to count on almost any receiver. Stephen Hill is a possible guy to look at in Holmes’ absence, but Hill simply can’t catch balls. Jeremy Kerley is a possible guy to start for desperate owners in PPR leagues.
