Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker (hip, knee) is expected to start in the team's Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to a report by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Locker was carted off the field in Week 4 and was originally expected to miss at least three weeks.
Jake Locker injury update: Titans QB expected to make fantasy start, despite being limited in practice
The Titans quarterback is expected to return way earlier than expected and play against the 49ers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Locker wore a brace on his knee and sported a noticeable limp in practice this week. He was limited to light jogging and throwing on the side and backup Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn't done too badly filling in so far in Locker's absence. It's pretty shocking that the Titans are even considering starting Locker.
Judging by the fact that fantasy owners seemed to mass drop Locker across fantasy leagues as soon as he was carted off the field, he might be a good pickup or bargaining chip for a trade if you can get him right now.
It’s hard to say whether or not he would be a viable starter this week against the 49ers, who boast one of the league’s best defenses. Most likely, Locker will have some trouble moving around in the pocket if he does play and that would make him susceptible to being sacked.
Although it’s good news that Locker will apparently play, it might be good to consider starting someone else over him right now and see how he does before using him as your go-to guy.
