Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jarrett Boykin will be counted on to fill some big shoes in the absence of reception machine Randall Cobb when the Packers host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Boykin is an intriguing start in leagues that reward receptions, yet he has just one catch this season for a 43 yard gain.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7: Jarrett Boykin
The Packers wide receiver will look to fill the shoes of Randall Cobb. The question is can he do it? We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Without a doubt there isn't a single person in any NFL fantasy league that had Boykin on their radar coming into this season as he is only relevant because of Randall Cobb's injury. That said, Boykin could be in line to make a huge impact in an offense that passes the ball like nobody's business with Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers at the helm.
Boykin will no doubt lineup as the slot receiver in the game and the Browns will most likely use Joe Haden to cover the likes of James Jones and Jordy Nelson, which should leave plenty of room for Rodgers to work the ball up the middle to Boykin and tight end Jermichael Finley.
One thing that will be interesting to note is whether Rodgers looks for Boykin down the field. Yes his one catch on the season is for 43 yards, but Boykin will have to be able to run quick slant routes and pick up first downs, which is normally a slot receiver’s job anyway.
Regardless of what the stats say at the end of Sunday’s games, Boykin looks like a guy you can definitely start in your fantasy league, especially if it’s a PPR format and even moreso if you own Randall Cobb.
