Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon is expected to play versus the Chargers on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Justin Blackmon expected to start on Sunday for Jaguars, fantasy owners
The Jaguars will likely not have to miss the presence of the rapidly emerging Justin Blackmon on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Blackmon has been hampered by a hamstring injury, and only got one limited session in this week. He sat out Wednesday and Friday, giving the Jaguars a scarcity of healthy wide receivers going into Sunday’s matchup. Blackmon’s counterpart, Cecil Shorts, was also limited after dealing with a sprained clavicle that he reportedly described as being so painful that he could not sleep earlier in the week. There have not been any indications that Blackmon will sit out despite the extra rest in practice, and he will likely be looked upon to move the chains this week once again.
Fantasy Spin: As long as he is in action, Blackmon is a wide receiver that fantasy owners would be hard-pressed to sit. Since returning after his four-game suspension, he has caught a whopping 19 passes on 29 targets. With Shorts also ailing, it will likely be up to Blackmon to shoulder the bulk of the receiving duties, as was the case a week ago when he caught 14 passes in a game where Shorts exited early. Start Blackmon with confidence once again this week, as he squares off versus a Chargers defense that is allowing an average of 273 passing yards per game.
