Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola has officially been listed as inactive for the team's matchup versus the Jets on Sunday.
Danny Amendola ruled out for Week 7, fantasy owners can safely bench him again
Though the Patriots will get Rob Gronkowski back in action this week, their receiving corps will take a hit once again with Danny Amendola out of action. We break down the fantasy implications.

Amendola sustained a concussion last week versus the Saints and was subsequently held out of practice all week. That never bodes well for a player's status, and the dead giveaway that Amendola would be held out is that he did not travel with the team for their road matchup. Amendola has finished just one game this season and will have appeared in just three of a possible seven after Sunday.
Fantasy Spin: With the shifty slot-man out once again, expect Kenbrell Thompkins and Julian Edelman to get the majority of snaps in two-wide sets versus the Jets. The sleeping giant that is Rob Gronkowski could also be heavily involved in the mix despite sitting out the team's first six games with a forearm injury.
Going forward, Amendola is worth a stash due to his heavy involvement in a pass-heavy offense when healthy, but owners will need to continue to exercise patience. His concussion will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis, and his lengthy injury history suggests that this will not be the last instance that his owners will be checking the inactives list on Sunday morning for his playing status. Though he’s been a fantasy disappointment for all but one game of the season, Amendola’s upside makes him undroppable at the moment.
