Jake Locker active for fantasy owners; deep league option only
The Titans quarterback is back from injury earlier than expected. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Tennessee Titans struggled without Jake Locker, going 0-2 since the quarterback was lost with a seemingly serious hip injury. The team will have the quarterback back for Sunday's game, though, as he has officially been listed as active.
After starting the season 3-1 with Locker - and the quarterback throwing six touchdowns and no interceptions - the Titans have gone 0-2 with Ryan Fitzpatrick as the starting quarterback. The backup has thrown only one touchdown in those two games, with four interceptions.
Fantasy impact: Locker was more solid than spectacular early in the season, with his game more about ball protection (the Titans had zero turnovers through four games) than anything spectacular. He averaged 180 passing yards through those four games, with only one game above 150 passing yards. Considering Fitzpatrick’s struggles, it’s possible Tennessee was a bit more enthusiastic in hurrying Locker back to action than they otherwise might have been.
On the other hand, in a super-deep or two-quarterback league, Locker is a much more appealing fantasy option than Fitzpatrick would have been. With the Titans facing the 49ers Sunday, it might make more sense to monitor Locker's gameplay and wait for their next game to actually use him in fantasy.
