San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews had his second consecutive 100-yard rushing day Sunday, his only two such games of the season. Mathews ran the ball 21 times for 110 yards and a touchdown as the Chargers beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, 24-6.
Ryan Mathews gives fantasy owners season-best yardage
The Chargers running back now has consecutive games with 100-plus yards. We break down the fantasy implications.

Mathews has had at least 100 all-purpose yards in three of his last four games, with the only exception being the team's 27-17 loss to Raiders, when Mathews was limited to eight yards before leaving with a concussion. Mathews' touchdown Sunday came on a three-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Fantasy impact: Mathews was looking pretty disappointing early in the season, with middling yardage and only a receiving touchdown in Week 1 salvaging his value. After 102 rushing yards a week ago, and 110 yards and a score Sunday, his stock appears to be on the rise. His longest run Sunday was only 14 yards, yet he still managed 5.2 yards per carry, which is a tremendously consistent number.
