Continuing his season-long trend of disappointment, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew was held to only 37 yards Sunday as the Jaguars lost to the San Diego Chargers, 24-6. Jones-Drew's yardage came on a season-low nine carries.
Maurice Jones-Drew has another brutal fantasy day; value nearly gone
The Jaguars running back has not had a big game all season, and might not have one in the offing. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jones-Drew added 19 receiving yards on two catches Sunday, for 56 all-purpose yards. He now has only 316 total rushing yards through seven games, which is fewer than 50 yards a game, and two touchdowns to go along with 63 receiving yards.
Fantasy impact: After a disappointing and injury-plagued 2012 season, there was a lot of optimism in fantasy circles about Jones-Drew’s stock for 2013 in the preseason. That optimism was apparently misplaced, and at this point should be all but evaporated.
The Jaguars play San Francisco next week before their Week 9 bye, then come back with five consecutive games against brutal defenses. Anyone who was still considering Jones-Drew a viable fantasy option should stop doing that.
