Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Mike Brown had a big game Sunday, catching five passes for 120 yards in the team's 24-6 loss to the San Diego Chargers. The 120 yards were nearly double Brown's career total of 63 entering Sunday.
Mike Brown springs from fantasy irrelevance to go for 120 yards
The Jaguars rookie nearly tripled his career yardage total in one game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brown had five catches on eight targets Sunday; he entered the game with five catches on nine targets for his career. Brown had two different receptions Sunday that were longer than his previous career-best 19-yard catch.
Fantasy impact: No one could have predicted this sort of output from Brown, especially once Cecil Shorts III was active for the game. Shorts and Justin Blackmon, the two Jaguar star receivers, had more targets and receptions than Brown, but neither could go for as many yards as the rookie.
It’s hard to imagine this level of production continues for Brown going forward, especially as Shorts’ health continues to improve. There just aren’t enough stats to go around in Jacksonville.
