San Diego Chargers wide receivers Keenan Allen and Eddie Royal combined for 107 yards and a touchdown a week ago, upping that to 136 yards and a score this week. How they got there was a completely different story, though.
Eddie Royal, Keenan Allen have similar fantasy days -- except Royal scored
The two wide receivers both went for similar yardage Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Royal was held without a catch a week ago against the Colts before catching four balls for 69 yards and a touchdown (his sixth of the season) Sunday in the Chargers' 24-6 victory over the Jaguars. Allen, meanwhile, had a touchdown and 107 yards on nine catches last week before falling to 67 yards on three catches Sunday, and not finding the end zone.
Fantasy impact: With Royal, Allen, wide receiver Vincent Brown and tight end Antonio Gates, it is growing ever more difficult to guess who will be the big producer among the San Diego pass-catchers week to week.
Fantasy owners who need reliable production might do well to steer clear of any of these guys, as each is as likely to score one fantasy point as a dozen. But owners who are looking for a lottery ticket could reap benefits from these guys.
