Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles' 11 completions for 80 yards Sunday looked like a disaster, until you compared it to teammate Matt Barkley's line. Barkley, who entered the game after Foles left with a head injury, also completed 11 passes and had 129 passing yards, but threw three interceptions as the Eagles lost to the Dallas Cowboys, 17-3.

Both Eagles quarterbacks were lost causes Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

After three consecutive games (two starts) with passer ratings of 114.9 or above, Foles’ rating fell to 46.2 Sunday, as he was quieted by the Dallas defense. His 11 completions came on 29 pass attempts, and his 37.9 completion percentage and 2.76 yards-per-attempt average were both season worsts, and by a large margin.
Barkley, meanwhile, came in for the fourth quarter after Foles left in the third. All three of his drives ended with interceptions.
Fantasy impact: Barkley’s fantasy value is even worse than it was entering Sunday, which should have been impossible. The less said about him, the better.
Foles, meanwhile, was looking promising through his first two starts of the season, but Sunday's game was a disaster in every way other than turnovers. With original starter Michael Vick working his way back from injury, the quarterback battle in Philadelphia could just now start heating up.
