The Redskins got another hard-fought effort from their featured back versus the Bears on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Morris ended his day with 95 yards on 19 carries, and rarely broke free, but consistently found chunks of yardage when there weren’t many to be had from his blockers.
Fantasy Spin: The blemish that fantasy owners are certain to notice is the fact Morris did not find the end zone in a game where the Redskins put 45 points on the board. More concerning, is that his change-of-pace back Roy Helu, Jr., found the end zone three times. This is not an area of concern going forward, but it is certainly reason for disappointment in the present. Morris was still the back who received the bulk of the team’s carries, and the team was effective while utilizing the hurry-up, which is when Helu checks into the huddle.
The Redskins will want a consistent running game and long, sustained drives to keep Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense off the field next week, and Morris remains a vital component of that formula. Expect another 15-to-25 touches to be given to the Redskins' feature back, and fantasy owners would be advised to remain patient, and start Morris with confidence.
