St. Louis Rams rookie running back Zac Stacy scored his first-career touchdown Sunday, going for 87 all-purpose yards in the team's 30-15 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Stacy had 53 rushing yards on 17 carries, adding 34 receiving yards on four receptions.
Zac Stacy’s fantasy day serves as Rams only bright spot
The Rams running back got his first-career touchdown Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stacy’s touchdown came on a 4-yard reception in the middle of the third quarter. It was the Rams’ only touchdown of the game, to go with two field goals and a safety. Stacy had 78 yards two weeks ago and managed 90 a week ago as he takes hold of the Rams’ starting job.
Fantasy impact: After weeks of wondering whether Daryl Richardson, Isaiah Pead, Benny Cunningham, or Stacy would seize the running back job in St. Louis, it appears that Stacy has become the guy, with Sunday's yardage bringing him into the team lead with 214 rushing yards. Richardson sits at 176 rushing yards, and Cunningham and Pead have been virtual non-factors in the rushing game.
Going forward, Stacy is the only usable member of the Rams’ rushing game and, considering the unpredictability and poor performance out of the team’s pass-catchers, might be the only usable member of the entire Rams’ offense.
