Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery recorded his third 100-yard game of the season versus the Redskins on Sunday.
Alshon Jeffery provides 105 yards and encouragement for his fantasy owners vs. Redskins
The second-year wideout provided a bright spot for the Bears after a 45-41 defeat to the Redskins. We break down the fantasy implications

Though quarterback Jay Cutler exited early with a groin injury, the bulk of Jeffery's production came with Josh McCown under center. McCown targeted Jeffery five times, and Jeffery caught four of those passes for 105 yards. Jeffery also benefited from having a defense key-in on Brandon Marshall and Matt Forte, and found soft spots in the secondary which translated into huge gains for the second-year receiver.
Fantasy Spin: It’s encouraging that Jeffery was able to capitalize with a backup quarterback under center, but defenses more capable with the Redskins could put an end to that. With the possibility of Cutler missing an extended amount of time, it could put a damper on a potential breakout season for Jeffery.
The Bears have a Week 8 bye, and as they prepare a new game plan in the event that Cutler misses time, Jeffery’s owners would be wise to come up with one of their own. Going forward, Jeffery remains a fringe WR3/WR4 option with upside.
