Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan completed 20 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ryan was not sacked in the game and did not turn the ball over.
Matt Ryan in top fantasy form against Bucs
The Falcons quarterback was in top form leading his team to their second win of the season in Week 7 against the Bucs. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: What is most impressive about Ryan's performance was that he only needed 26 pass attempts to get those 20 completions. He found Harry Douglas in the end zone for a 37-yard touchdown and Jacquizz Rodgers for a pair of scores on screen passes.
The Buccaneers simply didn’t have an answer for Ryan even though his wide receiving corps has been decimated by injuries the entire season.
One thing that was surprising in a win that saw the Falcons put up 31 points is the fact that tight end Tony Gonzalez only caught two passes for 30 yards in the game. That’s his second lowest yard total this season.
In Week 8, the Falcons travel to Arizona to face a Cardinals team that has been historically good against the pass in the last few years. That said, Ryan is considered a very good fantasy quarterback and should be in your lineup if you own him.
