Atlanta Falcons running back Jacquizz Rodgers ran the ball eight times for 16 yards and caught eight passes for 46 yards and two touchdowns in the team's 31-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7.
Jacquizz Rodgers a reception machine for fantasy owners
The Falcons running back caught a ton of passes and had one of the best games of his career in Week 7 against the Bucs. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: With number-one running back Steven Jackson out since Week 2 with a pulled hamstring, neither Rodgers nor teammate Jason Snelling have proven that they can get yards in bunches on the ground. The thing with Rogers is that he has sure hands and is quick in the open field and he displayed that against the Bucs on Sunday.
What’s impressive about his performance is that quarterback Matt Ryan targeted him nine times and he caught eight of the passes. He was as reliable as you can ask a running back to be catching screens out of the backfield and he allowed Ryan to keep the ball moving down the field with not much effort.
Rodgers is only fantasy relevant this season because of the injury to Jackson and with the Falcons taking on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8. Rodgers only has significant value in PPR leagues.
