Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco completed 24 passes for 215 yards and a touchdown in the team’s Week 7 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Flacco did not turn the ball over in the game.
Joe Flacco steady fantasy numbers in losing effort
The Ravens quarterback was unable to lead his team past the Steelers in Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Flacco’s touchdown pass came late in the fourth quarter and tied the game at 16. He found tight end Dallas Clark in the end zone with the ball on the 1-yard line. It was the second straight week that Flacco connected with Clark for a score.
In general, Flacco is a tier-two quarterback when it comes to fantasy statistics. The Ravens run a conservative offense that feeds off of the running game and Flacco makes most of his money in the playoffs. He has never been an elite regular season player.
The Steelers did a good job limiting wide receivers Tory Smith and Jacoby Jones to mediocre efforts and they even limited running back Ray Rice to just 45 yards on the ground.
The Ravens have their bye week in Week 8 and face the vastly improved Cleveland Browns in Week 9.
