San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Anquan Boldin continued being the team's top target on Sunday, catching five passes for 74 yards in a win over the Tennessee Titans. Boldin didn't snare a touchdown grab, but Colin Kaepernick didn't happen to throw one this game, either way.
Anquan Boldin leads the way for 49ers against Titans, has another decent fantasy day
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Anquan Boldin had five receptions for 74 yards against the Tennessee Titans. We break down the fantasy implications.

Boldin’s game was much more impressive than the final stats would seem to indicate. He made some big-time catches, with multiple sideline grabs in solid coverage. One was an almost-effortless one-handed grab near the sideline. The Titans simply didn’t have an answer for him.
Had the 49ers actually intended to throw the football more against Tennessee's pass defense, Boldin might have had a huge game. But the nature of the San Francisco passing attack might have limited him, either way. Running back Frank Gore had more carries (24) than Kaepernick did attempted passes (21).
Fantasy Impact: Boldin has been great for fantasy owners thus far. Rather, he's had a couple really great games and some where he's been ... not so great. As tight end Vernon Davis continues to have big games, Boldin will likely see things open up more and more. He's a very solid option going forward, even if he didn't manage to grab a touchdown this week.
