Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh is officially active for Monday night's Week 7 game against the New York Giants.
Blair Walsh active for fantasy owners on Monday night
Blair Walsh is still dealing with a minor hamstring issue, but he’s active and ready to kick on Monday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Walsh has been dealing with a hamstring injury the past few weeks, but was in no danger of missing any game action. He was listed as probable despite missing practice on Thursday. The injury is to his non-kicking leg, and is not expected to hamper his kicking ability. Walsh has been one of the top kickers in the NFL since making his debut in 2012. He has made 9-of-10 field goals this season and has yet to miss one from more than 50 yards.
Fantasy impact: Kickers are a running joke in the fantasy community, but Walsh is reliable enough that any injury to him would disrupt your lineup. He should continue doing just fine, however. Josh Freeman is getting the start at quarterback and has a chance to open up more field goal opportunities. Start Walsh as you normally would.
