Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson had a dismal performance on Monday Night Football rushing 13 times for 28 yards in the loss to the New York Giants. In Josh Freeman's first start in the Vikings offense, the Vikings offense struggled to move the chains and was generally ineffective. Freeman's performance was bad but Minnesota's offensive playcalling was worse. The Vikings ran the ball 14 times.
Adrian Peterson has dismal fantasy game on Monday Night Football
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson rushed 13 times for 28 yards in the Monday Night Football loss to the New York Giants. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Fantasy impact: Peterson has to be as frustrated as his owners. The quarterback situation is in disarray and the playcalling is mess. On the year, Peterson has 102 carries and 483 yards and five touchdowns. He is still going to be the guy in the Vikings offense and Freeman should improve. Peterson hasn’t lost his must start status and hopefully the Vikings coaching staff will remember they have one of the best running backs in the game. The Vikings will face the Green Bay Packers in Week 8.
