Cleveland Browns quarterback Jason Campbell will make his first start of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, according to the Cleveland Browns official Twitter account. Campbell started the year behind teammates Brandon Weeden and Brian Hoyer on the team's depth chart.
Jason Campbell to start Sunday, bumping Brandon Weeden off fantasy radar
The Browns’ quarterback situation just got a little more interesting. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Weeden was the team's starting quarterback going into the season, but was replaced in Week 3 by Hoyer. After Hoyer tore his ACL in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills, Weeden regained his starting role.
Weeden completed just 17-of-42 passes against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7 and now finds himself back on the bench again.
Campbell in his own right has never been able to stick as a starter in the NFL. His biggest opportunity came early in his career as a member of the Washington Redskins, but he's also had a cup of coffee with the Oakland Raiders and Chicago Bears. Given the quarterback merry-go-round that is evidently in place in Cleveland, there is really no value in starting Campbell in fantasy leagues unless you are in a deep league and your existing quarterback is on a bye week.
That’s without even mentioning that Campbell will play in Arrowhead Stadium against the Chiefs, one of the NFL’s best defenses this year.
