Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday, according to a report by Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union. Blackmon played through his injury last week, so his absence from practice is likely just a day of rest.
Justin Blackmon misses practice Wednesday, no major fantasy fallout expected
The Jaguars’ best wide receiver sat out practice to rest an injury on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Blackmon caught six passes for 58 yards in a Week 7 loss to the San Diego Chargers. He mentioned after the game that his hamstring was not an issue and did not affect his performance against the Chargers.
Normally a stat line like that wouldn’t be too bad for fantasy owners, but since Blackmon was a top-two fantasy receiver in his first two games of the season, it is a bit of a let down.
That said, no receiver in the NFL can be expected to put up an average of 150-plus yards a game over a full schedule. That’s the pace Blackmon was on after two games, something that’s even more impressive when you consider the fact he’s playing on the worst team in the NFL.
Although the Jaguars take on a San Francisco 49ers team that's known for its defense in Week 8, fantasy owners without question should still start Blackmon at receiver barring an unforeseen setback.
