Free-agent running back Beanie Wells worked out with the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. Wells has not played since being cut by the Arizona Cardinals back in March.
Beanie Wells works out with Ravens
The Ravens invited Wells to a work out on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Wells is far from being a factor in fantasy leagues given that fellow running backs like Peyton Hillis, Willis McGahee, and Brandon Jacobs have all found homes ahead of him this year.
The chances Wells latches on with the Ravens for anything more than a cup of coffee or an emergency backup role are slim. That's especially true when you consider the fact that the fantasy community pegged Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce in a timeshare situation at worst. As it turns out, Rice is still the team's feature running back, with Pierce acting only as a handcuff.
More than likely the Ravens are just working out Wells in an administrative sense, keeping tabs on what he can do just in case the team’s existing running backs experience any injury troubles or setbacks.
In eight games with the Cardinals last year, Wells averaged just 2.7 yards per carry.
