Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson was not practicing with the team Wednesday, according to Mike Rodak of ESPN. Jackson is dealing with a knee injury — specifically a sprained MCL in his left knee. It's an injury he hoped to be fully recovered from heading into last week's game against the Miami Dolphins, but aggravated the injury during the game.
Fred Jackson misses practice, still likely to play for Bills, fantasy owners
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson missed practice Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

That said, Jackson did not leave the game for an extended period of time. Still, he had a relatively quiet game rushing the football, with 11 carries for 36 yards and a touchdown. He did manage to snag four receptions for 49 yards to bolster his production, however.
Jackson is Buffalo's leading rusher this season, with 86 carries for 380 yards and five touchdowns. C.J. Spiller has 90 carries for 362 yards and a touchdown, and a per-carry average of 4.0 yards, slightly less than Jackson's 4.4.
Fantasy Impact: Jackson may have aggravated his injury on Sunday, but it doesn’t sound as though it’s all that serious. He may miss another day of practice this week and find his name on the official injury report come Friday, but barring any further setbacks, he’s expected to play on Sunday and should be started by fantasy owners given that Spiller is dealing with a more significant injury at this point.
