C.J. Spiller misses practice, doesn’t seem like smart fantasy option for Week 8
Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller missed practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Spiller has played in the past two games, but has not put up great numbers. Against the Cincinnati Bengals, he managed 10 carries for 55 yards, which was solid, but he did slow down a lot near the end, and may have been a factor in the team losing in overtime.
Against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7, Spiller carried the ball six times for 11 yards, and caught three passes for negative yardage. He wasn't in on very many snaps, and it was very clear that he was slowed down by the injury. The team may be looking at shutting Spiller down for a week to get him back to full health.
Fantasy Impact: Jackson missed practice on Wednesday as well, but he’s looked good in recent weeks and seems likely to play on Sunday. Jackson will get the bulk of the carries, and it might just be smart for the Bills to let Spiller get some rest to try and bring the ankle back to 100 percent. Either way, he doesn’t seem like a smart start this week.
