Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is expected to see more snaps at the slot position with teammate Reggie Wayne (torn ACL) sidelined for the rest of the season, according to the Indianapolis Star's Stephen Holder. Hilton has 27 catches for 412 yards and two touchdowns on the season.
T.Y. Hilton to see more snaps in slot position, fantasy value rising
The Colts receiver is going to be a slot machine with his teammate done for the year. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Hilton only managed to catch two passes despite being targeted 11 times in the team's surprising Week 7 win against the Denver Broncos. He has been a really good receiver for fantasy owners and the Colts in general, so his dud performance in Week 7 should be taken with a grain of salt.
Wayne’s injury is sad on many levels for the Colts. He’s regarded as a leader in the locker room and he’s bound for the Hall of Fame. Darrius Heyward-Bey will see an uptick in fantasy value as well in light of the injuries, but it is likely Hilton will emerge as the team’s number one guy in the passing game.
That's especially true when you consider Hilton was getting more playing time than Heyward-Bey before Wayne's injury. The Colts play a Houston Texans team that is falling apart in Week 9 and Hilton should definitely start in your fantasy lineup for that game.
