Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones (knee) did not practice on Wednesday, according to a report by Packers beat writer Tom Silverstein. Jones did not play against the Cleveland Browns in Week 7.
James Jones sits out practice, doubtful for fantasy owners Sunday
The Packers wide receiver is in danger of missing his second game in a row. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: All signs point to Jones sitting out the game against the Vikings, which is too bad for fantasy owners, especially considering the Vikings have an inexperienced secondary that gives up a lot of fantasy points to wide receivers.
It seems that teammates Jarrett Boykin and Jordy Nelson are more than capable of carrying the load in the Packers' passing game and Green Bay will be the favorite going into Sunday night, so the Pack don't really have a reason to rush Jones.
That said, fantasy owners definitely want Jones back in the lineup soon, since he is big and athletic. He’s managed to get himself a starting role in Green Bay and make former-Packer-turned-Viking Greg Jennings expendable. That speaks volumes of the confidence the Packers have in Jones.
