Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has a minor ankle injury, according to Jeff Legwold of ESPN. Manning's injury kept him out of practice on Wednesday, though it's possible that it was primarily a rest day, as Wednesday often is for veterans around the league.
Peyton Manning misses practice, fantasy status not in doubt
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning missed practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Obviously, Manning doesn’t need all-that much practice time when it comes to managing the offense and things of that nature. He’s been doing this long enough to make it through a week of little practice and be fully prepared on gameday. That said, it seems unlikely that the injury is any concern and it seems very likely that he returns to practice in full on Thursday.
It wouldn't be surprising to see him appear on the official injury report on Friday, but anything less than a "probable" designation would be shocking. All signs point to Manning being all systems go against the Washington Redskins in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact: Manning has been the top fantasy quarterback in the league, and any doubt as to his ability to play on Sunday is unfounded. He’ll be facing a poor Washington secondary and is easily the most attractive quarterback option this week. There’s no cause for concern, unless something wild happens between now and Sunday. Start him with full confidence, fantasy owners.
