Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams is in the first year of a six-year, $40.25-million contract extension, signed with the team in July. He hasn't done a lot under the deal so far, though, with only 196 receiving yards and two touchdowns -- plus one game missed to injury -- so far in 2013. Williams will look to improve on his season Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 8 TNF: Mike Williams
The Buccaneers No. 2 receiver has been quiet this season. Can he break through Thursday night? We break down the fantasy implications.

Williams missed Tampa Bay's Week 6 game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a hamstring injury, which still has him questionable entering Thursday night's game. He played through the injury Sunday against the Falcons, though, so odds are he will play.
Fantasy impact: Williams has been held under 40 yards receiving in both games with new starting quarterback Mike Glennon. Under former starter Josh Freeman, the fourth-year receiver had two games over 50 yards, but was also held to a nine-yard outing in Week 2 against New Orleans.
The team's No. 1 receiver, Vincent Jackson, appears to be Glennon's favorite target and was thrown the ball 22 times a week ago, compared to only five times for Williams. With Glennon's limitations and a strong pass defense on the other side of the ball, Williams should only be a desperation play Thursday night.
