Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback struggled in his first outing of the season, a Week 4 13-10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. After the bye week -- and, with it, a chance to get more acquainted with the team's game plan -- Glennon's numbers have risen in the team's two games since. He hopes to continue that improvement Thursday night, when the Buccaneers take on the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 8 TNF: Mike Glennon
The Buccaneers’ rookie quarterback has been decent, if unspectacular, through three starts in Tampa Bay. Can he be fantasy relevant against a good Carolina Panthers defense? We break down the fantasy implications.

Glennon has 722 passing yards through his three starts with five touchdowns and three interceptions. After completing 24-of-43 passes in his first start, the 2013 third-round pick has completed 26 passes in each of his last two games, in 43 and 44 attempts, respectively. Four of his five touchdowns and one of his three interceptions have come since the bye.
Fantasy impact: That the rookie's improvements happened to coincide with the team's bye is no coincidence. However, neither is it a coincidence that the improvements matched up with the Buccaneers facing the weak defenses of the Eagles and Falcons. In Week 8, he will be throwing against a Carolina Panthers defense that has allowed the third-fewest passing yards in the NFL.
Glennon targeted wide receiver Vincent Jackson 22 times a week ago against the Falcons, showing that he relies heavily on the team's top target. Jackson will likely haul in enough passes to be relevant Thursday night, but Glennon is also likely to struggle against Carolina. Even with six teams on a bye in Week 8, it's hard to imagine a scenario in which Glennon is worth a fantasy start.
