Despite saying his ankle feels "10 times better" than it did a week ago, according to an ESPN report, Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller sat out practice Thursday. Additionally, Joe Buscaglia of WGR550 reports that Spiller's chances of suiting up on Sunday are "extremely slim."

Spiller, a consensus first-round fantasy pick this season, has been a disappointment. He has topped 100 yards only once, scored only one touchdown and was held to 11 rushing yards on six carries last week against the Miami Dolphins. Fantasy impact: It’s sounding more and more like Spiller could miss Sunday’s game. Even if he does play, it’s hard to picture a scenario in which he does anything significant, especially against a decent Saints defense. For those who have to start him, Spiller is not a miserable flex play, as he always has the ability to bust a long run, but he could also be held to no production.
Either way, Jackson’s stock is steadily rising, and he is a definite RB2 Sunday -- possibly an RB1 if Spiller misses, considering the six teams that are on a bye. Choice is likely fantasy irrelevant, but, considering Jackson has a lengthy injury history himself, Choice might be a viable stash.
