Brandon Jacobs injury update: Giants RB listed as doubtful, fantasy owners should bench
The New York Giants have listed Brandon Jacobs as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jacobs suffered the injury two weeks ago, and was a scratch for last Monday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. Entering last week he was expected to play, but numerous reports indicated a setback, from which he apparently has not recovered.
Fantasy impact: A doubtful listing means Jacobs has a 25 percent chance of playing. Once in a while a doubtful player will end up active, but the odds seem fairly long for Jacobs. If you are counting on him as a running back or flex option, bench him.
Peyton Hillis and Michael Cox will split carries on Sunday, but Hillis is likely to get the lion's share of the work. Last week, Hillis had 18 carries on 48 snaps, while Cox had 11 carries on 21 snaps. Neither running back was pretty, as they combined to average 2.0 yards per carry. Hillis is the better option, but he is a low-end bye week fill-in at best. Cox has some upside, but with fewer carries than Hillis, his value is even worse.
