New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola said that he's ready to go after taking a "battery of tests" for his concussion, according to Michael Whitmer of the Boston Globe. Amendola sustained a concussion against the New Orleans Saints in Week 6 and missed New England's game against the New York Jets in Week 7.
Danny Amendola practices again, could play for fantasy owners Sunday
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola practiced for the third straight day on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

That said, Amendola has practiced every day this week. Usually, the final call on a player coming back from a concussion is made on Saturday, so we might know more then. Amendola has been extremely limited this season, missing three games earlier in the season in addition to the team’s Week 7 matchup.
It’s unclear whether or not Amendola will actually play, but he’s getting closer, if anything. Needless to say, the Patriots hope the player who caught 10 passes for 104 yards in Week 1 shows up, and not the one who’s been limited due to his injuries in every other game.
Fantasy Impact: Amendola was seen as a very desirable fantasy option heading into this season. He was to be Tom Brady’s top target, but there was always a risk of injury. Anybody who stayed away from Amendola figured he’d get hurt, and that’s been the case. That said, if he’s on your team, then you should probably play him if he’s likely to be active. Wait for Saturday for the final call.
