Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson is listed as probable for Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals. Jackson is dealing with a hamstring injury that has kept him inactive since Week 3. He practiced all three days in the leadup to his probable designation, the first time he's done so since Week 2 prior to a game against the St. Louis Rams.
Steven Jackson listed as probable, seems likely to play for fantasy owners
Steven Jackson is listed as probable for Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.

In Week 1, the only full game Jackson has played this season, he put up 77 yards off of 11 carries and caught five passes for 45 yards against the New Orleans Saints. Jackson had a lot of hype around him heading into this season, and was expected to be a major contributor to a playoff contender.
Both Jackson and the Falcons have fallen short of expectations, for a variety of reasons. But getting Jackson back, even if he’s not 100 percent, should do a lot to help the NFL’s No. 30 rushing attack.
Fantasy Impact: Jackson owners should note that he might not shoulder a full load on Sunday, but he should get the lion’s share of the carries. He’s a must-start for fantasy owners, unless you hear something else about his status on Saturday or even early Sunday. Jackson seems good to go.
