Has any wide receiver been dealt a worse hand than Arizona Cardinals star Larry Fitzgerald over the past two years? Still one of the best receivers alive, Fitzgerald had a disappointing 2012 with the Cardinals rolling out the worst quarterbacks in the league. Things were supposed to improve this year after the team traded for Carson Palmer, but he's flopped so far, throwing 13 interceptions in seven games.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 8: Larry Fitzgerald
Larry Fitzgerald’s production was supposed to improve with Carson Palmer under center, but that hasn’t materialized. Fantasy owners are now asking hard questions about his status going forward, but we believe they should hang on to him.

The result has been another down year for Fitzgerald’s stats. Through seven games, he has just 32 catches for 422 yards and four touchdowns. He has just one game with more than 100 yards and has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury for most of the season.
Fantasy impact: Despite the slow start, there is reason for optimism. Fitz is facing the dismal Atlanta Falcons defense on Sunday, and will have a bye week to get the hamstring some much-needed rest. He may not reach the WR1 heights of years past, but he's still a safe bet to get touchdown targets. As bad as Palmer has been, he will still look for Fitz in the red zone. Fantasy owners should stay the course here.
