The fantasy world will have to wait at least another week for the return of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll announced that the injured receiver will not play on Monday against the St. Louis Rams. Carroll also said Harvin’s status remains day-to-day.
Percy Harvin injury update: Seahawks WR to sit Monday
Soon enough, the Seahawks will add the threat of Percy Harvin to an already intimidating arsenal of weapons. We break down the the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Spin: Harvin thrived in fantasy leagues despite shaky quarterback play and nagging injuries during his years with the Minnesota Vikings. His situation in Seattle is a comparatively attractive one with several weapons around to complement him. An entire defense can't afford to zero-in on Harvin, and if he regularly receives looks, special things can happen.
When Harvin does return, it is hard to tell what to expect from him. He is coming off of a torn labrum that has sidelined him all season, which could mean a conservative game plan early on. Harvin is an immensely talented wide receiver, but it will probably take a game or two to figure out just where he is from a fantasy perspective.
