Detroit Lions tight end Joseph Fauria has become an intriguing fantasy find in recent weeks. An undrafted rookie out of UCLA, Fauria started the season buried behind Brandon Pettigrew and Tony Scheffler on the depth chart, but he's become one of Matthew Stafford's favorite red zone targets.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 8: Joseph Fauria
The undrafted rookie has quickly made a name for himself. Will he see enough targets to justify starting in fantasy leagues?

Through seven games, Fauria has just eight receptions on the season, but those catches have gone for 81 yards and five touchdowns. He quickly became a fan favorite due to his silly touchdown dances and could be in line for more targets after the Lions released Scheffler.
Fantasy impact: It's tough to say how much the Lions plan on using him with Scheffler gone. Fauria clearly proved that he deserves more targets, but got just one catch for 15 yards in last week's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Pettigrew was added to the injury report with a hamstring issue, potentially giving Fauria an opportunity to get more chances against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. His fantasy value is entirely centered around grabbing touchdowns so far, making him too risky to start every week, but watch his snap counts for now. If Fauria does get more playing time, he could become a viable TE2 down the stretch.
