After struggling to find any room to run in his second NFL game, Le’Veon Bell put in an impressive showing in Week 7, rushing for 93 yards on 19 carries against the Ravens. The rookie running back now has three starts under his belt after missing the beginning of the year with a foot injury.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 8: Le’Veon Bell
The Steelers starting running back is coming off the best performance of his brief career. Can he sustain the same kind of success on the ground this week? We break down the fantasy implications.

Through three games, Bell has rushed for 184 yards on 51 carries. He’s the clear-cut starter in the Steelers backfield, and he should continue to shoulder the load as long as he’s healthy. This week Bell faces a Raiders defense that ranks No. 10 in the league in fewest rushing yards allowed per game (99.0).
Fantasy impact: The Raiders held Jamaal Charles to 78 yards rushing last week, but they still allowed him to find the end zone twice. That’s the one of the better-case scenarios for Bell. He scored twice in his first game against the Vikings. If the Steelers move towards the goal line, Bell can punch it in.
Fantasy owners should consider the rookie in the RB2 range going forward. If Pittsburgh possessed a better offensive line, that status could be in the fringe RB1 area.
