Vernon Davis injury: 49ers TE probable, but remains a must-start in fantasy football
San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is listed as probable for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Davis caught four passes for 62 yards against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7, but before that, he managed eight receptions for 180 yards and two touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6. Davis has been dealing with the injury since Week 3, when he didn't play against the Indianapolis Colts.
The 49ers tend to keep their players on the injury report for longer than necessary. There is no chance Davis misses this game unless he sustains some kind of unrelated injury on the way to the stadium. He is in unfamiliar territory, after all.
Fantasy Impact: Davis should start, and any fantasy owners worried about his appearance on the injury report: stop that. Start him every single week and hope he puts up more games like the one he had against the Cardinals. He’s been a big part of the 49ers’ resurgence and is one of Colin Kaepernick’s favorite targets. He’s all systems go for Sunday.
