DeMarco Murray injury: Cowboys RB questionable, could play for fantasy owners
Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is listed as questionable for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is questionable for the team's Week 8 matchup against the Detroit Lions. Murray is dealing with a knee injury that kept him out of the team's Week 7 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It's a knee sprain, suffered the previous week against the Washington Redskins.
It was originally thought that Murray would need more time to rest up, but he practiced all three days this week. He was a limited participant in practice, but it was more than was expected of him. Rookie fifth-round pick Joseph Randle made his first career start in Murray's place against the Eagles and put up 65 yards off of 19 carries. He also had 28 yards off of three receptions.
It was an encouraging game for the young back, to be sure. Murray will re-take the starting role if he plays, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Cowboys give him some plays off to get the ball back in Randle’s hands.
Fantasy Impact: Murray has been a productive back this season. He’s rushed 91 times for 428 yards with three touchdowns. That’s a per-carry average of 4.7 yards, which is definitely good. He’s added 164 yards off of 24 receptions on top of that yardage. He’s a second option for most fantasy owners, but it the decision on whether or not to start him is tricky. If he plays, it might be in a limited role. If he’s clearly your best option, then he should be started.
