New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman is questionable to face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday due to a thigh injury. He was limited in practice all week but is expected to play.
Julian Edelman injury update: A risky play in fantasy all around vs. Dolphins
Julian Edelman should be able to suit up for Sunday, but he’s a risky play. We break down the fantasy implications.

He was limited all of last week with the same issue and he gave it a go against the New York Jets. Edelman caught five balls but only yielded 44 yards. That has become a pattern for him all year, catching a good number of passes but failing to turn them into yards downfield.
Edelman is likely going to backup Danny Amendola in the slot and the two could split the snaps in some capacity.
Fantasy impact: With Danny Amendola getting cleared from his concussion, Edelman becomes a risky play. The last two times Amendola was on the field, Edelman only had seven catches combined. The Dolphins defense has been much improved against the pass, so there may not be many opportunities for Edelman anyway. Unless Amendola sits, fantasy owners might want to keep Edelman on the sidelines this week.
