New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful to face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. His hamstring kept him out of last week's Monday Night Football matchup against the Minnesota Vikings and he is expected to miss this game, as well.
Brandon Jacobs injury update: Doubtful status makes Peyton Hillis relevant
Brandon Jacobs isn’t likely to play in the big game against the Eagles. We break down the fantasy implications.

While Jacobs busted loose on national TV against the Chicago Bears in Week 6, he has been derailed by this injury. In that outing, he had 106 yards and two scores in the losing effort.
Peyton Hillis saw 18 carries last week, yielding a paltry 36 yards against a relatively soft Vikings run defense. He was able to rack up five catches for 45 yards, though. Michael Cox saw 11 carries and should also be a factor this week, too.
Fantasy impact: Most of the time when a team goes up against the Eagles, it’s usually a nice matchup. However, the Giants have no running game, so it’s tough to start Hillis. He’s more of a flex play. Cox has a little bit of upside, but Hillis is the safer play.
