New York Jets receiver Santonio Holmes will not play against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. He did not practice all week and was ruled out on Friday.
Santonio Holmes injury update: Tone Time won’t be this week, Jeremy Kerley remains a fantasy prospect
Santonio Holmes is out again. We break down the fantasy implications.

He has not played since September 29th and doesn’t have a timetable to return. One week prior to suffering that injury, he a 153-yard explosion, then the injury completely has knocked him from relevancy.
He sat most of last season with a foot injury and the durability concerns are really starting to pile up. The Jets, and ex-GM Mike Tannenbaum forked over $50 million to Holmes and are still waiting for that investment to come around.
In Holmes's absence, Jeremy Kerley has stepped it up. He had a whopping six third-down conversions against the New England Patriots last week. David Nelson has also risen from the abyss and become a popular option-route guy for quarterback Geno Smith.
Fantasy impact: Holmes is not worth owning in most leagues. Meanwhile, Kerley has been Smith’s go-to guy and he’s ready to roll this week against a banged-up Bengals secondary. Nelson is a Hail Mary option.
