The Jacksonville Jaguars appearing on the schedule is all the salve some players need. San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is apparently one of those players, as he had a monster first half Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London. At halftime of the game, the 49ers lead the Jaguars, 28-3.
Colin Kaepernick comes to fantasy life with 3 first-half scores in London
The 49ers quarterback ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in the first half against Jacksonville. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kaepernick has completed 9-of-15 passes in the game for 147 yards and a touchdown, plus he's added a pair of rushing scores and 54 rushing yards on seven carries.. Kaepernick's rushing scores both came in the red zone, one in each quarter, and his touchdown pass was a two-yard toss to Vernon Davis in the second quarter.
Fantasy impact: After a huge game in the 49ers' season-opener against Green Bay, Kaepernick had pretty miserable games against the Seahawks and Colts in Weeks 2 and 3 -- though those opponents make rough performances somewhat understandable. Since then, he's been decent or better in every game of the team's soon-to-be-five-game winning streak, with his passer rating never falling below 89.0.
The scores Sunday bring Kaepernick to 10 touchdown passes and three touchdown runs to go with five interceptions (four of which came in his Weeks 2-3 bad spell) on the season. He’s unlikely to have much in the way of gaudy passing numbers, especially with the 49ers’ weak receiving corps, but he contributes in enough ways that Kaepernick still probably needs to be considered a top-10 quarterback.
