Aided by two Buffalo Bills turnovers, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has thrown for three touchdowns through the first half of the Saints-Bills game Sunday. At halftime, New Orleans leads Buffalo 21-10.
Drew Brees gives fantasy owners 3 first-half scores
The Saints quarterback is lighting up Buffalo Sunday. We break down the fantasy impact.

Brees has completed 16 of his 20 pass attempts for 206 yards, with the three scores and no interceptions. Those numbers are good for a 149.2 passer rating. Brees has connected for touchdowns to wide receiver Lance Moore (15 yards in the first quarter), wide receiver Kenny Stills (69 yards in the second quarter), and tight end Jimmy Graham (15 yards in the second quarter). Graham was considered a possible inactive until shortly before game time.
Fantasy impact: Coming out of the team’s bye, Brees showed no signs of rustiness Sunday, with his 206 first-half passing yards putting him on pace for his second 400-yard passing game of the year. The first-half performance guarantees that Brees will have multiple touchdowns for the sixth time in seven games this year. He’s pretty obviously fantasy’s No. 2 quarterback.
